What's the Big Idea?
In which I explain the purpose and goal of this here corner of the universe.
Hello! Welcome to my little corner of the universe. It’s nice to see you.
If you’re here, there’s a good chance you already know that I am an author, artist, educator, etc. You may have even already read one of my published novels or listened to the audio drama I wrote. And, I hope, you are craving MORE!
Well, you are in luck, my friends. Because this is the place for MORE!
You see, I have written much, much more than I have ever published or produced. In fact, I have written four additional novels that have never seen the light of day (outside of a few beta readers and a couple of skeptical people in the big world of publishing). And that’s a crying shame, if you ask me.
So this is my attempt to change that.
Soon and very soon (as soon as I figure out all the bugs, bells, and bobbles of this platform, in fact), I will begin posting those novels here in a serialized format. Once the novel is complete, I will release an ebook version of the novel and, based on the feedback and engagement that novel got, I will kickstart a printing of that novel. Exciting, no?
Here are the four novels on the horizon:
Life, Liberty, and All That Jazz: In the 1920s, a child piano prodigy is kidnapped after a concert at Carnegie Hall by a jazz musician claiming to be his long lost father.
Secret City: During WWII, a boy with a gift of prophecy struggles to fit into the government constructed city of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, mainly because he knows the truth about the deadly machine they’re constructing.
Queen of the Nerds: In this retelling of Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra, a girl in Sweetwater, Texas takes a job at a comic book store and finds herself tangled in rivalry that threatens to tear apart everything she holds dear.
The Snakes of Ireland: On an island off the coast of Texas is the city of St. Patricks, a thriving metropolis full of every Celtic fairy tale creature driven away centuries ago from Ireland. Now the inheritor of St. Patrick’s amulet, Noah Emmaus, must stop the rise of an ancient being seeking revenge and the end of all humanity.
Okay, guys, there you go! I hope to get these stories started as soon as possible.
Onward and Upward!
